Beginner Running Course (Couch to 5km)

Beginner running courses are 9 week courses designed for people who are new to running or who would like to return to running after an injury or period of inactivity. This fun and supportive course will take you from being a non-runner to running 5km continuously! The course is based on one group run and two ‘homework runs’ per week. As well as running the course covers running posture, strength training to support your running and looking after your pelvic floor.

Morning Course

  • Duration: 9 weeks
  • Cost: £40
  • Next Course: Friday 11th January 9:15am, Sanderstead Recreation Ground

Intermediate Running Sessions

These sessions are designed for runners that can already run for around 30 minutes continuously and would like some help to take their running to the next level! The sessions will vary from week to week and will include 5km runs, hill training, intervals, & fartlek etc. Some weeks there will be some strength training at the end of the sessions to help support your running.

 

  • Duration: Weekly, Wednesdays 8pm, starting January 9th 2019
  • Cost: £42 for a pre-paid block of 6 sessions or £7.50 per session on PAYG basis

Payment

Payment is to be made in full in advance by bank transfer. Alternatively you can pay in full via cash at the first session.
