Running Courses
Beginner running courses are 9 week courses designed for people who are new to running or who would like to return to running after an injury or period of inactivity. This fun and supportive course will take you from being a non-runner to running 5km continuously! The course is based on one group run and two ‘homework runs’ per week. As well as running, the course covers running posture, strength training to support your running and looking after your pelvic floor.
Beginner to Intermediate Sessions:
These training sessions are the perfect follow on from the C25K course. These sessions are designed for runners that can already run for around 30 minutes continuously (speed does not matter) and would like some help to take their running to the next level. They’re a great way of maintaining those regular runs and in a safe and friendly environment. Sessions will vary from week to week and will include 5km runs, hill training & intervals etc. Some weeks there will be some strength training at the end of the sessions to help support your running.
Intermediate Sessions:
These sessions are designed for runners that can run continuously for 45-60 mins comfortably and provide a safe and sociable way to run/train in the evenings. They focus around hill and interval training of different forms in order to improve speed, stamina and strength and to help decrease the risk of running related injuries.
To book onto either of these courses please download & complete the PARQ Form, and e-mail across to [email protected], stating which course you would like to be booked onto.
Payment is to be made in full in advance by bank transfer. Alternatively you can pay in full via cash at the first session.
